A purpose-built hand-held motorcycle coil tester for fast, reliable bench-testing of virtually all types of ignition coils at a fraction of the cost of traditional coil testers.
Latest
spec includes external 12V power option and improved spark output circuit.
Supplied with connection leads and external power supply cable.
Powered by
an internal 9V battery, or external 12V DC using the supplied lead, it can
check 6V & 12V, standard and CDI type coils. Simply connect the leads to
the coil, press the test button and the coil will spark, either on or off the
machine. The coil tester makes the coil spark at about 1-2 sparks per second
(equivalent to approximately 1500-3000 rpm), for as long as you keep your
finger on the test button. LEDs display open circuit coil, test in progress &
low battery. Ideal for use with the IgnitionMate where there is no power to a
coil or if the coil is removed from the bike.
